His responsibilities have included setting up servers, routers, workstations, tele/data cables, data backup systems, and software installations. He has also supported rollouts for desktop systems, wireless environments, smartphones, and other peripheral IT equipment. In addition, he led the company’s migration to Office 365 for all end-users. That effort involved ensuring the smooth transfer of corporate data, including emails, shared calendars, business contacts, and corporate files. Prior Work Experience
Before joining Stuffed Foods, Scott Robinson of Andover served as Director of Project Management at Eze Castle Integration. This company provides managed services, cybersecurity, and business transformation for mid-market financial services organizations worldwide. From 2014 to 2017, he led the firm’s Project Management and Circuits teams for over three years. He had 13 direct reports within a global staff of more than 350 people.
During his time there, Scott managed between 120 and 160 projects each year across seven office locations. He was responsible for hiring, training, and developing staff, while also providing strategic leadership and daily oversight to teams focused on service implementation. He also created and led improvement initiatives, including systems and procedures designed to support integration across the organization. The projects he oversaw varied in size, length, and complexity. They included cloud migrations, hardware upgrades, voice implementations, office buildouts and relocations, and colocation projects.
Scott was also named the Winner of the Eze Castle Founders Award 2015 in recognition of his contributions to the company.
Earlier in his career, Scott served as Director of Information Technology for Racepoint Group, which provides integrated communications services to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. In that role, he managed the strategy and execution of all IT operations for the company’s global 175-person communications agency, which had offices in seven cities. He supervised the implementation team and worked closely with management and outside vendors. His responsibilities included negotiating, outsourcing, and consulting on vendor contracts and service agreements.
Scott also spent five years as Director of Information Technology at Todd & Weld, a 75-person Boston law firm. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, he helped ensure that the firm’s productivity, security, and financial performance were supported by technology. He managed the firm’s immediate, short-term, and long-term IT priorities, including systems planning, disaster recovery planning, contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and software and hardware purchasing. He also participated in monthly management meetings and worked with the Executive Committee, the Executive Director, and other managers to support the firm’s IT goals.
His hands-on IT career began at Donovan Hatem LLP, where he worked as a System Administrator for five years. There, he managed a 160-user network that included servers, switches, firewalls, phone systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and user support. He also completed several system projects, including adding a new ISP and BGP, implementing VMware and EqualLogic SANs, upgrading the phone system, and installing an online backup solution. In addition, he planned and executed a remote office in NYC and helped plan and carry out the Boston office expansion to an additional floor.
Education
Scott attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he earned his B.S. in Sport Management in 1998. In 2001, he chose to study computer science at Clark University. There, he built his knowledge of networking platforms and earned both A+ and Network + certifications.
Love of the Outdoors, Traveling
Outside of work, Scott Robinson of Andover enjoys spending time outdoors and taking part in a wide range of activities. His interests include fishing, hiking, crabbing, scuba diving, skydiving, bungee jumping, snow skiing, water skiing, boating, and rollerblading. As a youngster, he spent a great deal of time in Cape Cod, where many of these interests first took shape. Growing up, he also played hockey and lacrosse.
Scott also ran the Boston Marathon twice. Each time, he trained for 16 to 20 weeks in preparation for the event. His interest in challenge and exploration also extends to travel. He enjoys attending concerts and sporting events, and he values the experiences he has when traveling with his wife, Belinda.
Over the years, Scott has driven cross-country and backpacked through Japan, Thailand, and Europe, including England, Ireland, France, and the Netherlands. He has made a point of experiencing each place firsthand. He also lived briefly in Seattle and spent a summer interning in New York City.
